Compression Therapy

This is a very common first treatment for spider veins and varicose veins. We recommend 20-30 mmHg knee high stockings in most cases to prevent blood from pooling in weakened veins. It’s a very effective treatment to improve circulation and reduce symptoms.

Your Treatment Experience

We’ll recommend wearing a well-fitting pair of compression socks. You’ll put them on as soon as you get out of bed in the morning, and wear them until you go to bed at night, except for when taking showers, baths, or swimming. You’re able to go about your normal activities while wearing compression socks.

Expected Results

Improvement in symptoms and possible decrease in size of veins while wearing the compression socks. However, this is not a permanent solution to the issue. When the compression socks are removed the symptoms will return and the vein’s size will increase again.
